Upcoming Convention schedule and NEW news!!!

For anyone hitting the con circuit this year, I'll be at the following upcoming shows, Wizard World Chicago from August 9-12th (the Hero By Night booth, and the Big City Comics booth) Baltimore Comic-Con on September 8th and 9th, and Orlando Con from September 21st-23rd(at the Big City Comics booth) also Wizard World Texas from November 16th-18th (Hero By Night booth, and the Big City Comics booth)

In related news, I've taken a position as the Vice President of Creative Development at Big City Comics. Our books slated for release this fall include: Mario Gully's Ant (relaunching from issue 1 under the Big City banner, and featuring a talented new artist who is taking over the art chores from Mario), Omega One (a fully painted book by Elvin Cintron), Totem, Tempest, and Dragon Cross. Am I crazy for taking on so much other stuff on TOP of all my coloring work? Probably. But it was such an exciting proposition, and the chance to work with so many talented individuals was just too good to pass up. I'm STILL coloring the same 3 (and sometimes 4) books a month, but now I'm doing all sorts of other cool things as well :)

Big City Comics will be a sponsor at all of the cons I mentioned above. With a special Orlando Con exclusive comic of Big City properties, featuring a jam cover by all of our artists: Mario Gully, Rob Doria, Elvin Cintron, Rob Richardson, Shi Wong, and colored by yours truly, limited to 5000, that the organizers will be giving away a set number of to each retailer in attendance, as well as making available for sale at $5 each.

Hope to see lots of you there, stop by and say hi if you get a chance. Met lots of folks in Philly, from comicspace and all over the internet, which was a real treat. Have a good summer and take care everyone!
