Damn, Jason, your digital paintings are awesome. Lemme know if you ever need a writer to add a story to them.

RE: Hero By Night #2 is the ComiXtreme pick of the week!

You're workin' hard, bro! Glad to see you getting props, too. ComiXtreme has taste.

hahaha! I HAVE been slacking off here the last couple of days between books, but I shall return to my previously scheduled Juggernaut mode before the week is out :D been coloring some OLD SCHOOL re-creation stuff I'll likely share here soon, and catching up on my Smallville watching with my son. So when is the Bombqueen videogame coming out man? (or better yet the posable action figure :) )

The back cover might become the front cover, Jason. The coloring you did looks awesome. I would hate to muck it up though with the comic logo and all that front cover jazz. I like it best being able to see all the work we did.

Hey thanks Mark! I really dig the work you've done for A Game of Thrones, I did a couple of cards for the last expansion pack, and am currently working up some more for the next edition. GREAT property to work on, but your painting skills make me feel a mixture of admiration, envy and shame all at the same time. Lots of good artists working at FFG. take care!

thank Jim, yeah, but like with any paintings, or artwork for that matter, you're NOT seeing the 2 or 3 crappy ones in between those. And I'm not thrilled with ALL of them, but it's a learning process, I only started doing that kind of stuff late in '06 so hopefully I can get a bit better this year and start to swap out some of the older ones that are weak with some really cool ones soon.

thanks guys, and in answer to your question Jimmy...I been COLORING my ARSE off man! :D (but you still ain't convincing me to try that Zima stuff though)

Zima is the devil's drink. Wait, that makes sense why Jimmykitty drinks it like mother's milk, heh.

[ Posted by jasonembury on Mar 12th, 2007 8:07 AM ]...

Zima is like drinking those flavored water things you see in the store all the time. I never got into those much either. Granted, you down a six pack or maybe a case of Zima, and your payoff is a bit better in the end, but nothing beats an old fashioned rum and coke (except maybe a G and T) My kids favorite joke lately has been to say "hey dad, you know why the rum is always gone? Because you DRINK it, just like Captain Jack Sparrow" which is immediately followed with laughter that is a bit over zealous and out of control. and just to clarify for the kiddies, and in Jimmie's defense, neither of us drink irresponsibly, an occasional drink, once a week at the end of the day, at home, is all us old hermit types can do anymore. A six pack of Zima might just kill me if I drank it.
