Once again based in Melbourne, Australia, after five years exile in Florida, I'm primarily a writer and self-publisher of comics, although I do dabble in the art side of things as well.

Presently I have two anthology books available:

ONE MORE BULLET features six stories covering ground as diverse as the Holocaust, trench warfare, honor amongst the samurai, alien invasions and travelling around thre world. Written by Jason Franks. Art by J. Marc Schmidt (creator of EGG STORY from Slave Labor Graphics,
Nathan Wiedemer, David Richardson and Jason Franks.

ROCKSTAR PIZZA features four stories involving yakuza, rock'n'roll hijinks, Australian gansters, and a zombie plague. Written by Jason Franks, art by Michael Athey, Carlen Lavigne, Richard Gaines and Jason Franks.

HARD WORDS, an anthology of stories about words and writing: literary drama, off-kilter philosophy, fantasy, horror and autobiography. Stories written by J. Marc Schmidt, Justin Jordan, Steven Mangold, John Cunningham and Jason Franks.

I also write and colour a weekly webcomic called NANNAH LAVEAUX with J. Marc Schmidt. Nannah Laveaux is a suburban Melbourne sitcom/soap about a witch and her neighbourhood. Season 3 should be starting up in short order.
