i'm in the arizona state MA literature program...this is my second semester...
last semester was a piece of cake so i took a larger load this time...BIG MISTAKE!!!...i just happened to get really easy professors last time...this time all my profs are full-on gestapo...
i still work full time as well...

Yes I am actually. Josh and I are planning on moving to Tempe as soon as we can manage it and I want to enroll in the ASU's art program because it's probably one of the best programs I've seen.

Again, that sucks that they are piling so much on you. Is it too late to drop a class and get your $$ back to lighten the load?

Ya. I've been wanting to go to ASU for the past 2 years or so. Even visited Tempe last year and found it more than livable. :) Actually, we're planing on a signing tour w/ Atomic Comics after NYCC. Maybe we could all have lunch or something when we're out there.

Since you are in the Lit program, what all are you studying... if I may ask?

what am i studying?...i'm focusing mostly on modernist writers like toni morrison, william faulkner, virginia woolf... my intent is to explore how they use newfound 20th century psychological concepts to enrich the themes of their work...such as the usage of Jungian archetypes and crap like that...and how their characters use these images to create personal mythologies to make sense of the world...i know...riveting...
sometimes i wish i could just sit in a dark room and draw...but my wife has this strange notion that i should earn a living at some point...i don't know where she gets these crazy ideas...
