JDubs
The 4-issue mini series, The W.a.R.S. Project, is rolling again after a number of stops and starts. The book is very much in the vein of G.I. Joe, with a few added elements. I'm writing this series and it is being penciled by Steven Brice.
I'm also continually looking to hook up with artists, inkers, letterers, and just about anyone else that's like minded. I love expanding my horizons, so if anyone is looking for a writer to work with on a project, I'd love to hear from you. Let's get to creating!!
Currently the books and series that I am enjoying the most are G.I.Joe: America's Elite, The Stranded, Robin, Ultimate X-Men and The Many Adventures of Miranda Mercury. I've also been getting more into small press and independent books to try something different and help support the people like you and I that are trying to make their way in this business.

Thanks for the Add!
The W.a.R.S. Project sounds interesting. Will you have a link when it gets close to release? And maybe a gallery of previews of what the penciller is doing? Best of luck! 1 Reply [ Latest posted on March 14th, 2008 2:11 PM ]

Hey no prob!
As far as the link, I think that would be great but I'm not sure. I will have to see where that road takes us. I will however put up some of the preview pages for your viewing pleasure! |

Hey, no problem. Thanks for the request.
As far as my top 5 DVD's, boy that's tough. Ok, I'm going to go with movies that may not be highly critically acclaimed, but rather ones that I enjoy. From my collection, in no order, here we go:
1. Firefly- Fantastic show, deserved a lot better than an unfinished first season.
2. Crash "Director's Cut"- Great movie where character interactions is essential to the movie. It gets into the heads of people and sees what really goes on with their thought process and how they percieve other people to be.
3. Sideways- I love this movie about, well, wine. It's actually about more than wine, but the wine is used as a storytelling tool. When I was getting ready to watch it the very first time, I was skeptical. But I really love this movie. Probably my most played DVD.
4. Silence of the Lambs "Collector's Edition"- It's hard to believe that I had never seen this movie up until a l ittle over a year ago. I'm almost ashamed of myself. Great movie. The "recipe cards" that are in this edition make a cool extra.
5. Tie- Braveheart/Gladiator- Couldn't decide on which one. I love both movies a lot.
Care to share your Top 5 or give any suggestions as what else to watch? |
