Hey! I'm an old school Small Presser. My first comic was published December 24, 1976: Full Circle Comix' Amazing Stories #1. Full Circle Comix was started by myself and Kevin Collier when we met at Muskegon Community College. We published over 60 comics from 1976-1982. Over the years we had many contributors, some who have "gone pro." We revived FCC in 2004 with my son, Andy, who is an excellant artist and was not even born when we had our first run. Unfortunately we discovered that the Small Press world was/is much different than "back in the day" and we closed shop mainly because Collier bailed (as he frequently did over the years) to write children's books. Our final(?) release was Amazing Stories #15. Over the years I have published under different brands: Big J Comix, Blue Sword Publications, GreyWulf Productions, Trekker's Log and others that slip my mind at the moment. I also contributed to many zines, comics, mags, newsletters, etc. There is now a cover gallery if you wanna check it out!For over a decade I had stopped illustrating for publication due to CTS and focused mainly on writing. I don't draw nearly as much as I used to but I do enjoy it. I especially like to do Good Girl and Horror art. If you're looking for contribs lemme know. I am a big fan of Wonder Woman/Lynda Carter. Great to see you're finally taking a more active part in the insanity here. This is a great meeting & greeting site. Lotsa folks with similar interests to discuss our passions with. Glad to see you getting involved more.
How are you situated as far as in-house copies of Full Circle Comix for the prize on the new 3Cs contest? Drop me a personal line so we can discuss it further, okay? I'm not really sure if Tim's contacted any of the publishers in the group for the prize package, so...
