Hey! I'm Jer Alford. I'm a writer, editor, publisher, printer, comic distributor, and general con-veteran. I own and manage two indie publishing companies, Purrsia Press and Mini-Komix.

I've been running Purrsia Press since 2001. It specializes in manga-styled and anthropomorphic comics. We have several anthology titles: our main manga anthology title book of Mangatron, the furry collection of Anthrology, a fantasy/horror one called Phantasy, plus a shonen-ai one called Gothic Bishonen, Catgirls Galore with just catgirls, U.K. Manga which is comics from British manga-ka, and sci-fi/action in Science-Action. We also have Rick Butler's comics of Advent Pop Blues and Puffball Treasure Island. Plus, the sexy superhero series, Thong Girl. Our flagship title is one I wrote called Purrsia about a genie catgirl, which is now being worked into mainstream comic.

My other company of Mini-Komix was started back in 2006. This one focuses more on generic publications like mini-comics, graphic novels, and sketchbooks. Among our titles is James Burns' comic Detached, Lot 12 and Sexbeard The Death Pirate by Jesse Coulter & Staph, Ninja High School Dojinshi featuring fan comics of Ben Dunn's NHS series, as well as my comics of Jesi The Genie, and Senshi Vs. Sentai. There's also Kitty Crusaders which is a catgirl superhero anthology with Desi Turner's Kinetic Kitty, and my comic Kitty Honey. We have a graphic novel anthology titled Thought Balloon which features extended chapters of Kitty Honey and Kinetic Kitty.

I also own Kitsune Comics, which is an online comics distributor. We help sponsor many convention through it, also through Purrsia Press and Mini-Komix.

I've written several comics. Including Purrsia, Jesi The Genie, Rabina, Bikini Kiki, Zombie Vs. Pirate, Senshi Vs. Sentai, Din & The Magic Milk Bottle, and Kitty Honey, I have some material in Purrsia Press' Anthrology like the bunny shojo comic of Equinox, which is also featured in Neo-Kyoto by Native Ink Studio. I've also written several Ninja High School and Gold Digger comics for Antarctic Press, and Furry NHS for Shanda Fantasy Arts. Plus, I write a few webcomics, including Gaijin Hi, along with a few other titles that I've transfered onto the net.

Aside from that, I'm the webmaster for Atlanta Fandom, a listing of fan-events in Atlanta, GA. Plus, I'm the president of Atlanime, an anime fanclub. I also run Anime Grindhouse which screens mature anime at fan events.

I've been involved with fan conventions for several years. I've worked at Dragon-Con and several other cons in the south, as well as setting up programming for Furry Weekend Atlanta, Momocon,Sci-Fi Summer, Timegate, Trinoc-Con, and Zine-A-Polooza.

Recently, I've been orginizing large comics events similar to Free Comic Book Day. I did Free Manga Day back in 2006, and Free Furry Comic Day & Free Mini Comic Day in 2007.
