Three comics-related things I love:

Lettering: I letter on a freelance basis, often for very little if the project is great and the creators are poor. I love storytelling and design, and combining them is what lettering means to me.

Editing: I often hear that editing is what frustrated writers do for work. Not me -- I like to do both. Helping a writer bring a story to its fullest potential is a great part of the day. I used to say editing was my one marketable skill until I learned how to bake bread and letter comics. I have a special interest and knack for kids' comics from my time at Disney Adventures magazine.

Writing: I mainly write historical comics of varying stripes, some fictional, some non. All of them have heart -- I try to be more dramatic than didactic. And I love me some good old fashioned adventure yarns.

Silver Mercedes -- Script and Letters

Fred Chao and I based this little story on a "Missed Connections" ad. It was meant for an anthology of such comics but alas, it didn't make the cut. The ad text is here verbatim. I made up what it could have meant. Fred brought it to life.

Can I ask you a favour? I made this webcomic strip called "Toilet", only 5 strips, and I translated them in english for my ComicSpace page, would you tell me if you find mistakes in the dialogues? My english is not perfect...
