What is a portfolio like mine doing on this site??? At first glance it appears to have nothing to do with comics...or does it? You see, I am here because I offer a very special service to pencilers and artists, and I will present it to you now. Read on: 3d. Look in my portfolio and you will see a wasp vehicle half-rendered in line drawing. I didn't draw it. (Although I could have, hehe) Now picture this: Your writer wants to you draw a complex scene. Repetative drawings of mechanical objects and scenes from different angles are absolutely essential to the story, to say nothing of the visual importance. Do you really want to meticulously draw each vehicle or building that repeats throughout the book, in detail, in perfect consistency? No, of course not. You want to draw superheros. You didn't buy all of Burn Hogarth's books to draw cityscapes! Thats where I come in... Its much easier to create the scene in 3d, then render it to lines much in the way you observe on the Wasp picture below. You tell me what angles you need, and I simply adjust the camera, render, and send you the resulting drawings in whatever sizes you need them in. Bring them to your light table, add your own style as you trace, and woa...check it out...perfect perspective, perfect consistency, and all you have to do is draw your characters in. Thats what I'm doing here. Check out www.JesterArts.net for more of my work. Leo@JesterArts.net ![]() JesterArts's BulletinsDisplaying 1-1 of 1 bulletins...
