Hi Jimmy, thanks for your comments re: the new ComicSpace logo. As a comic book writer who can't draw a line worth a damn, it goes without saying that I'm a frustrated artist. However, I'm also a frustrated GRAPHIC artist; I'm obsessed with things like logos, flags, coats of arms and ideograms, but I just don't have the hand-eye coordination or the motor skills to actually execute the designs I see in my mind. Drives me crazy, and makes me hyper-aware of things like logos and website layout. That's why I bounced off the first ComicSpace logo, and why I like the new one so much.

It's weird: Visual arts seem to run on both sides of my family, with my late great-uncle, his daughters, my sister and my Mom all being great illustrators, painters and/or sculptors. Completely skipped me, though. Any wonder I ended up in comics?
