Comic fan for almost 30 years. Recently graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science.
Moderator at Comixtreme.

Arguably the third most knowledgable DC comics fan at Comixtreme, so I guess that'd make me the Mr. Terrific over there. Father of four. Husband of Tally for going on 12 years. Doctor Who fan since the day I saw the Jon Pertwee take down the giant spider of Metebelis 3 after school one day.

I often wonder sometimes why we describe ourselves by using facts when as people we are so much more. I guess it has to do with relatability.

I'm a guy with lots of half-birthed concepts for stories or books or comics but without the motivation to do something with them. Perfect credentials for being a critic eh?

Oh yeah, I'm not Japanese. I'm actually around half-Filipino. My mom is Filipino with alledgedly some Chinese and my dad is Dutch/Irish. Yamato is a favorite name from my childhood when I was watching anime without knowing it.

Yay, thanks for the add. When I lived in Monroe, NC I was drug to one of the furniture outlets in Lancaster all the time.

Thanks, Jim.

It's nice to hear people that people are reading comics with their kids--especially mine! :)

Thanks for adding the Comic Newb, fellow ComiXtreme fan. A CS major, eh? That was my major, been programming since 96 and in the industry longer yet. It seems to be a popular career for geeks. :)

Welcome to the crazy farm - DON'T WASH THE ZOMBIES! They hate that sort of thing!

Re: you comments on my page

I'm replying on your page because (1) although I like the new reply-in-comment features it doesn't encourage visiting other pages (2) it helps spread the love and (3) I just like to type too damn much for my own good.

As for your comments about Bomb Queen, THANKS!! I seriously appreciate the support and the kind words always help. As for "Ashe" (her sidekick pet cat) YES, you've got the idea, there's more to him than meets the eye. I've watched Trigun, but sadly not enough, I don't recall a pet cat. But Ashe's mystery will be explained in the future. I've already hinted at the cat's origins in the trade paperback (between the lines of The Four Queens bios).

Anyway.... thanks for reading the micro-blog entries. I swear, it's weird writing those because there's no feedback, nor any features to promote it. I'm not sending out notices or anything, and I don't expect people to come back to my page again, and again.... especially while there are no new features in place.

See, I'm rambling again. Again, THANKS for your comments and keep fighting the good fight and spreading the love of comics.

You can be an advisor in Andy's circle, me, I'm just a henchman.

Thanks to Blake, CX is now taking over "Comic Space." and considering how much Andrea lusts for power, she'll declare herself President for Life or Empress or something in very short order.

Thanks for the add, Jim. Always great to see other CX-ers hanging out.
