| Header: | Writer/Creator looking for Artist | ||
| Bulletin: | Writer/Creator with too many stories to tell and no artist/collaborator to help me tell them. Currently in development, I have 5 different series or mini-series in various stages of writing. Some have scripts fully written, others are outlined in detail page for page, others have characters, settings, concepts and plot outlines but no scripts. One series in particular would work well as a Zuda submission, if done right. I'm very much a character-focused writer. When I read comics, I like seeing the emotion in character's faces and seeing their personality drive the story. I'm looking for an artist who knows how to tell a good story, who tries some new things, who works well with others, can handle criticism (good and bad!) and who wants to see their work in print. I grew up drawing, so I'm very visual when I write but due to a developing degenerative neuromuscular disease called Friedreich's Ataxia (see www.curefa.org for info) I find it difficult to draw nowadays. At this point, money is something that would be negotiated based on your talent and ability, but would likely start off as a large share of backend profits. I have contacts and plans in place to do my best to sell lots and also the drive to see what other opportunities can arise. I like to keep in communication with the people I work. So if you're not comfortable or able to communicate weekly (at least) via MSN or email, then perhaps this won't work for you. Thanks for reading this. Please contact me at joelkleine@shaw.ca or send a message here at ComicSpace if you're interested and able! I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Joel Kleine |
