Co-Host of the Comic Book Page family of Podcasts, where each week, we review 3 recent comics: 1 DC, 1 Marvel, 1 from some other publisher; all in 30 minutes, On Weekly Comics Spotlight. We also occasionally delve into classic storylines on Back Issue Spotlight, cover Diamond Previews once a month on Previews Spotlight, discuss the numbers once a month on the Mayo Report, and talk to other fans about comics on Super Fan Spotlight.

I've been reading comics since I picked up Amazing Spider-Man #88 in 1970. I read over 100 titles every month, everything from Marvel (including Icon) to DC (including Wildstorm & Vertigo) to a wide variety of Indy books (Image, Dark Horse, APE, IDW, Markosia, and others, including manga). I also love to check out a variety of small press books on a regular basis.

My strategy for adding friends:
Writers/Artists: I have been looking around ComicSpace for Writers/Artists who have profiles which describe or contain samples of their work. I check it out and if it looks interesting or like something I would enjoy, I make a friend request.
Fellow fans: I look for people who seem to share common interests. Comic Book Page listeners and fellow Comics Fourm community members get an instant "friend accept" from me.
I follow the same rules when someone requests to be my friend. Do we share similar interests and/or do I like your work.
