I draw for video game companies by day and draw comics by night. I've worked at Eidos, Atari, Ubisoft, etc. but currently work at Stray Bullet in Austin, Texas.

The comic I'm drawing is called GRAVESLINGER.

GRAVESLINGER is a new supernatural Western from Image Comics's SHADOWLINE Imprint. Created by Shannon Eric Denton, Jeff Mariotte and John Cboins (that's me).

I’m going about, inviting anyone and everyone, to participate in the greatest show in Indy Comics: Small Press Idol 2008. Last year, over 100 teams competed for the chance to be published, and dozens of the top projects have been appearing in Mysterious Visions Anthology. 3 of the other top projects have been picked up by 3rd party publishers, and a couple others are also now with the Dimestore Imprint. This year, we’re upping the ante. With a very small entry free, we’re going to have a CASH PRIZE for the winner, as well as a publishing deal.
Sounds interesting? Anyone who is not currently being published by a “name” company, who is not making a living making comics, is eligible. So if you have a webcomic you’d like to rework a bit into a comic…entering will grab you lots of new eyes on your work. Self published issues haven’t been selling great? Kick it up a notch, and see how it stacks up in the spotlight.
