| Bulletin: | Star Wars: Knights of the old Republic Issue # 32 Star Wars created by George Lucas Script: John Jackson Miller Art: Brian Ching Colors: Michael Atiyeh Lettering: Michael Heisler Cover Art: Brian Ching & Michael Atiyeh Published: by Dark Horse Comics Cover Price: $2.99 Story Arc Vindication Part 1 Well with two very popular video games and internet rumurs of making Knights of the old Republic the next big MMO. This is a great title for any Star Wars fan, movies, comics, novels or games. The potential is huge because the timeline {which is given on the inside cover along with a story set up} amkes the Star Wars Universe even bigger. All the story arcs are broken up into segments making them chapters of a bigger story. So this issue # 32 part one of this story "Vindication" this series is one big novel that has easy jump on points. Back issues for those completeists are pretty easy to get a hold of single issues or trades. Most of all this title has more Sith vs. Jedi battles than you could imagine. Story lines are consistantly solid the art is incredible, I mean c'mon this is Star Wars what else would you expect? Bold and gritty art styles on this book are compelling you can't put it down, you'll be in the battles and secret missions along with all the Jedi, Sith & the millions of other aliens that make up the Star Wars Universe. Dark Horse has done such a great job with the Star Wars licence Kudos! I'll admit there are alot of Star Wars titles out there but I believe this series stands out & on it's own two feet. You still have "good vs. evil" but with all new characters. I used to love Lord Vader but enough already there are so many more places to take this than just one corner of the galaxy where we've been for over thirty years now. Dark horse put new life into Star Wars "A Long Time Ago" with Tales of the Jedi. That was the platform that put the history into place that has made this and other titles possible. So scrape up a few bucks kick back and enjoy a journey into the old times and maybe have a better understanding of the ways of the force. Enjoy!!! Story Overall - 7 Concept - 8 out of 10 Plot - 9 out of 10 Dialouge - 10 out of 10 Art Overall - 9 Style - 9 out of 10 Storytelling - 9 out of 10 Colour/Tones Importance: Overall 7 To the Title – 9 out of 10 To the Company – 9 out of 10 To the Medium – 7 out of 10 |
