I'm here to work for free

To Anyone and Everyone:

I'm a professional writer, editor and college instructor, as well as a lifelong comic book fan, and I'm looking to make the jump from the "real world" to comics.

I've had some big-name comics luminaries tell me I had an impressive resume, but they also told me that without some specifically comics-related experience I'd be hard pressed to land a comics gig.

So I'm here to beg for work. This isn't something I'm accustomed to; as a professional, I'm used to employers coming to me, checkbooks in hand. But now I'm coming to you, hat in hand, offering my services free of charge.

That's right; for the low, low cost of nothing, you can have a professional writer/editor work on your self-published book or your pitch. You get the benefit of an experienced set of eyes on your project, I get some comics experience, and we both win. All I ask in return is that I get credit somewhere in your project for my contribution.

I've pasted my resume below to give you a more complete idea of my skills and experiences. Please let me know if you think I could be a good addition to your project.

Thanks,
Jon
