I’m looking to collaborate with an artist on a story I’m writing. This isn’t a, I write and you draw kind of thing … I’m looking to truly collaborate with the artist (from character design, story points, and page layout). The story is a mix of drama and action, which focuses on a female lead coming to grips with who she really is. At the moment it’s a 4 issue story that is the prequel to much larger story. Ok, this is the part I’m sure you’ve been wondering about … payment! Well at the moment, I would love to have a collaborator who wouldn’t mind some form of payment based on book sales or small lump sum payment per issue (I’m no Marvel or DC people). Also I’m looking for someone willing to travel (I’d love to visit a few small Cons and showcase this project), and more importantly who can really produce quality work … on time! Now when it comes to art styles, I really don’t have in mind anything in particular. What I am looking for is someone who can handle faces, action and clothes! This story is based in the everyday world and has a few scenes that have busy streets and a lot of people.
