I've written a bunch of novels (The Fixer, The Invoker, The Destructor, The Syndicate) and would like to spin-off my Lawson Vampire character (a very un-vampire vampire - think supernatural hard boiled pulp action noir rather than Gothic syrupy stuff) into a comic. My series is being relaunched in mass market paperback (along with four new adventures The Kensei, The Ripper, The Wraith, The Shadow) and I'm in talks (actually it's my agent, but you get the idea...) to bring it to TV, so a comic spin-off would be really great to help the series reach a new demographic.

I'm interested in talking to any established comic companies with good distribution and marketing, as well as amazing artists to bring this to life. I've got a script penned for the first issue and will welcome any requests to see it (provided you're interested in possibly doing something).

Recent article on me regarding Lawson...

Apart from my Lawson Vampire novels, I've written several other books, including my mystery/thriller Danger-Close, a pulp noir adventure starring former USAF commando turned paraplegic private eye Jake Thunder.

I was hired to write a novel based on the Dark Commandos webisode series - Blood Sanction should be out in 2007. I also currently write for Gold Eagle's Rogue Angel female adventure series. I've been contracted to write five novels for them (Thunderbolt of the Ninja, Brank of Khosadam, The Lost Race of Three Snakes, Blade of the Moros, and In the Footsteps of Giants), the first due out this summer. Additionally, I was the first professional author to partner with MySpace.com and offer a serialized month-long fiction piece, The Courier in October 2006. I've also worked with several production companies, including Howard Stern Productions.

I've co-authored two non-fiction books, including Learning Later, Living Greater (August 2006) and The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (August 2007).

Finally, I write short stories every once in a while. My last appearance was in From the Borderlands alongside greats like Stephen King, Bentley Little, and Whitley Strieber. My story, Prisoner 392 received an Honorable Mention in The Year's Best Horror & Fantasy 2004 edition.

Apart from writing, I've been studying martial arts for about 25 years with belt ranks in Judo, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Karate, and Kung Fu. I'm currently ranked as a 5th degree black belt in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, the art I've been studying for the past 16 years or so.

Drop me a line! Thanks!
