| Header: | Major Contest for Comics Creators | ||
| Bulletin: | Comics Creators: You are talented, creative and driven to express your creativity, or else you wouldn't be here. So... I have a question for you. ComicSpace has been approached by a significant publisher that plans to publish a series of cutting-edge comics using outstanding new talent--and they want ComicSpace to help them build a creative team! They want the next great writer, the next great penciler, the next great inker, the next great colorist and the next great graphic designer/digital letterer/production expert. What I have here is the opportunity to host a contest for comics creators unlike any ever held online. This isn't some scam to steal your ideas. It's about talent, skills and desire. It's about getting a job doing what you love to do! What if you were given the chance to prove that you can write, pencil, ink, color, or do graphics/lettering/production working with an established property under the same conditions as pros at the major houses enjoy (how can you prove you're a great inker unless you have professional-quality pencils to ink?)...? What if you could enter in one or more categories...? What if the amount of work needed to enter was manageable...? What if there were stages/eliminations along the way with cash prizes and recognition (that would look very good on your resume) leading up to a grand prize for each discipline... and a job!...? What if your work in every stage but the first was done under the guidance of world-class, professional comics editors...? Please vote here: http://www.vizu.com/poll-vote.html?n=36164 --Josh |
