ROUND TABLE TRADING CARD GAME BY WIZ KIDS
Lewis and Benz recently signed a deal with game developer Wiz Kids, Inc. (makers of HeroClix) to produce a groundbreaking Trading Card Game based on a game played by the characters in their series. The Round Table TCG is set to be released along with the third book in their series in December of 2007.

FILM PROJECTS
The writing duo has teamed with Hollywood super producer, Mark Gordon (TV's Grey's Anatomy, and movies like Saving Private Ryan, The Patriot, and The Day After Tomorrow on a film property based on their series.

COMING PROJECTS (WITH DEREK BENZ)
- Grey Griffin Books (4-13)
- The Natalia Romanov Detective Series

COMING PROJECTS (SOLO)
Lewis has teamed with Shannon Eric Denton on a project based on childhood stories his mentor, Thomas K. Crawford, told to his son. In July of 2006, Crawford was killed in an extreme sports accident in Park City, Utah. Lewis and Denton will join Crawford's wife to create a children's picture book series called Super Buddy, helping equip kids with the courage to do the right thing.

Lewis is also in the development stage on three other independent series, one of which he will illustrate as well.

COMIC BOOKS
Lewis and Benz credit comic books for much of their success. At the age of eight, the duo had already set plans to launch their own comic book publishing house. By the age of 16, they had developed over 150 unique characters. According to the authors, writing those backstories is what inspired them to launch into careers in writing.

They will be pitching some unique ideas in 2007, so be sure to look for their work in comic stands coming soon.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the kind words. I'd wish you the same amount of luck, but it doesn't appear that you need it. I'll keep my eyes peeled for those Grey Griffins.

Hey, JS! Thank you for the nice words about my work! I´m a fantasy fan myself and I became very interested in The Revenge of the Shadow King. It´s the kind of story I´ll probably love to read. I´ll try and find it here in Brazil.
And Happy New Year!
All the best,
Marcio

Thank you. And the same to you. "Sassafras Winters" is a GREAT name!

Much appreciated. There was actually a baseball player with that name back around the turn of the 19th century. Now I need to pick up your books and get reading them. It sounds like a fascinating series!

That's too bad. It's becoming a great show. Mignola and Perez will be there. Should be a good time. Hopefully we'll get to cross paths one of these days.

Thanks. I'll definitely be picking up some of your work. Albion looks very cool -- plus I'm a sucker for anything waving the Union Jack. Sometimes I wish I was born British like my idol, Tolkien.
