Please vote for "Steel Rising" in Small Press Idol!

Hello everyone! Just wanted to give a quick update concerning "Steel Rising", a project I'm penciling for this year's Small Press Idol competition. The contest is currently in the third of four rounds. We received "yes" votes from all three of the judges and now our fate is in the hands of the voting public. We're doing pretty well to this point, 3rd place out of sixteen projects, but there are a couple of projects that have picked up a lot of momentum. Public voting goes until June 7th, the top three vote getters move on to the next round, the others get left behind to ponder their future. If we want to hold off the others we need to get more voters on our side!

Here's a link to the "Steel Rising" page. There you will be able to check out our round 1 and 2 submissions plus find a link to our round 3 stuff (three actual pages from our planned #0 issue). Hopefully you'll like what you see and want to see more. Whether we win or not I fully plan to make sure "Steel Rising" sees the light of day in some sort of publication. The winner of Small Press Idol receives a four issue deal from Dimestore Productions so coming out on top would go a long way toward making "Steel Rising" a reality. If you do enjoy it we could really use your help. As I mentioned before, we need all the help we can get. The public can vote for a particular project once a day so we need as many people to check in and vote daily as possible.

To vote for "Steel Rising" please follow this link. If you haven't done so in the past, you will need to register for the site before you can vote. After that it's as easy as following the link and checking "yes" in the poll at the top of the page.
