James Redington.

He was a friend I'd made during several years of indie comic production and attending the Bristol conventions. Someone I'd only see three or four times a year but we had got on via that shared interest in comics - and furthermore in putting together comics that showcased other people's work.

James had Portent Comics tables at most of the UK comics events I went to and the numbers of artists who assembled there was testimony to his personality as much as his enthusiasm.

I was shocked to hear of his sudden death last week - he was only in his twenties and clearly had a lot to offer.

Craig, nice work by those concerned on the Eagles site, might I suggest a couple of improvements? Roll of honour requires us not to nominate previous winners, so why not have a link to the list of such winners in a pop up ?

An option to send ourselves a copy of our votes, or at least a list on the "thanks for voting" page as a double check that our votes have been sent correctly. eg I made an error on nominating Kieron Gillen for comics villain when I meant David Kohl ;-)

More description of the categories is needed.
