Had to tell you that I think you work on Jonah Hex is awesome. Lots of re-reading can be done on just about any story, lots of excellent plot twists, dialogue, and art. I get a kick out of the arrangement of some of the story structures. I’m still seeking out more of your work as I’ve only picked up a 21 Down TP. Might have more books by you, might not. That’s all off the top of my head.
I would express the same sentiments toward Jimmy Palmiotti, but either he never received my MySpace Friend Request, or he (accidentally?) denied me.
At any rate, I just thought I’d ask if you guys have any plans of Hex visiting White Fawn again. I think there’s some good potential drama to be had if you do indeed tell that story.

Thank you, Jacob. Hex is a book and character we enjoy writing so I'm happy to hear that translates to you. As to White Fawn, we may revisit her in the future. As to Jimmy, I'm sure he's just backlogged on friend requests--he's a popular dude.

Thanks for the add, Justin. UNCLE SAM & the FREEDOM FIGHTERS was my favorite limited series in years (and I read a lot of comics). I cannot wait until the next one. Do you know if ACUNA will be doing the art on the next one? If not, HIRE ME!!! Just kidding (sorta).

Judging from Didio's comments at NYCC, it seems we'll be getting more Freedom Fighters goodness as another mini-series? How soon will we know what he meant?

Just finished reading Uncle Sam and The Freedom Fighters #6... fantastic issue! So good to see Joan back kicking butt and taking back her title. The new Red Bee Jenna is also growing on me... she's definitely got some of her great uncle Rick's moxie!
I really didn't expect the ending... but the reveal makes certain prospects quite promising! ;)
Can't wait for #7!

Hey Justice Grey. I am sad to hear that we may have to start yelling out to DC to "Save This Book!" for Hex. :( Why is it always the good ones that have a hard time selling.
But I am looking forward to seeing it get some air time on that video game channel. Can you record it and then youtube it for me. I don't think I have a video game channel.
Hey do you think if DC sees Hex on TV they might start thinking to themselves "Maybe instead of promoting our 5th Batman and Superman books we should start promoting our better books like Manhunter and Jonah Hex?" |
