Where I Come From

Well, what can I say? I'm an '80s kid. I got into anime when Robotech first started out in the US. Watched things like G-Force (Battle of the Planets to some of you), TranZor Z, Voltron and the like. Though I hadn't really started getting into drawing till I started collecting comics in the late '80s. From there it became an obsession and eventually I went to an art college. I have a BFA in Illustration from years of work. Now I sit around and draw funny pictures while my co-workers stare at me strangely.

What I've Done

Mostly I self-publish stuff as no company has been crazy enough to try and pay me yet. Though I did have a short stint as an intern at what used to be known as Studio IronCat. I used to also teach several continuing Studies courses on drawing and computer coloring at my old college. I have been at this whole drawing thing since about 1994. It's hard to remember these days. I've also done a bunch of convention hopping since 1997 when I discovered conventions from an old friend. Since then I have been to more conventions than I can count. Where normally I can be found either at a table in Artist Alley or running a panel on art/computer coloring.
