Welcome to the Exclusive Commentary Version of Deity. This is the first time the book has been shown and collected this way. I'll be adding commentary to each page letting you in on my thoughts and some behind the scenes info on each page and the creative process that went into them.

A little set up. At this point I had self published my first issue and the numbers were really bad. My reorders were great and I was getting info from retailers that the book was selling out. Which sounds great when you say it. In reality it just means your book is not available to be purchased. That's a real bummer. I was not daunted by this and worked to get this book done and on the shelves 5 weeks after the first issue. Which I did. I was starting to get some buzz but it was still pretty faint. All that and I have yet to mention the creative issues that went into the book. I was still trying to get my drawings a monthly book legs under me. Lucky for me Victor Olazaba came along and made my life a lot easier. There is special place in heaven for inkers. hehehe.
