Hullo,
I'm Kay Iscah. My first love is prose, but I like comics. Though I'll admit I like the potential of the medium more than most comics out now. I'm a Scott McCloud geek. I think "Understanding Comics" and "The DC Guide to Coloring and Lettering Comics" are the best books on making comics out there (least the best ones I've read). I got my B.S. in Mass Comm back in '04. I sort of finished a novel and a screen play in '04. I finished writing a book on low income budgetting last year. I finished scripting a 32-page comic for Affinity / Affinity Storm (whatever it is now) last month. That's where I'm coming from and here's what I'm doing: Trying to sell said budgetting book, waiting to see what Affinity does with my script, and growing my home based business www.amoebaink.com . I run a cafepress shop called "Amoeba Dreams" because I always wanted to design t-shirts. I also have the privilege of being the Editor/Letterer of "Orange and Blue Cream" by Ashley Malone which is where you get the title for my comic diary. Where I want to be: Once "Orange and Blue Cream" is ready, I'm going to turn my focus back to an ambitious comic series collaboration between me and my best friend (and fantastic artist) Kristen Michelle Collin. Ultimately I want to write. It's not the only thing I want to do, but it's how I define myself. kayiscah's BulletinsDisplaying 1-5 of 5 bulletins...
