| Header: | Our first San Fran Meeting | ||
| Bulletin: | Well, last night was the first of firsts for our group: our first meeting! We met at the very busy yet laid back Pig & Whistle. Very good eats! I found a nice table in the back which met our needs nicely. Mark brought his book, The Harveyville Fun Times which will be published any second now http://thft.home.att.net/. Anne brought her new finds, "Gloomcookie" which is angsty goth romance with a twist of fantasy/horror goodness. I hurried over with Powers, 52, and My Monkey's Name is Jennifer (Jennifer is an angry monkey). BTW: Anne introduce me to the Animation Show in San Jose. http://www.animationshow.com/ Looks like good stuff. Next possible meeting may be an outing. I want to visit some different shops and scan the goods. Also, I'm throwing a group together for Wondercon. Who am I kidding? We definitely need to meet again over some good food, good drink, good company, and good comics. Stayed tuned.... |
