I am comics teacher in the Liminka School of Arts (private school near Oulu, in Northern Finland). This is how we study.

We have 40 - 50 comic students yearly, some study one year, some stay for several years. The ages are like from 16 to 25, about 30% do manga. In Finland there are four other schools where you can seriously learn sequential art.

I have worked with narrative drawing all my life, I used to do informative comics before I got my present hilarious job in 2000.

Lauzier, Joe Sacco, Joakim Pirinen, Scott McCloud, Robert Crumb, Reiser, Herge, Tove Jansson, Tarmo Koivisto, Olli Hietala - they are important human beings.
