Comics. I love 'em. I make 'em. Often about music, but it's all over the place.
Nowhere Band, to your right, is my current thing. Updates about weekly. Is good. So very, very good.

Your McSweeney's bits have always made me laugh. It's funny, it looks like we've got pretty similar tastes in comics. 2 Replies [ Latest posted on January 5th, 2007 10:25 AM ]

Thanks a lot! I'm still a little weirded out by the way those stories turned out; they came froma dumb thought I had while sitting at a stoplight on a bike, and pretty much every freelance job I've ever gotten has come through there. Weird.
What're you reading these days? |

It's been my very limited experience that, really, that's how it almost always works out.
Aside from what you mentioned? In comics I'm reading Gillen/McKelvie's "Phonogram," I'm reading "Kabuki" and "Finder," and I was overjoyed to see that Dylan Horrocks's "Atlas" had finally released its third issue.
And, of course, Scott Pilgrim.
Lately I've been reading far more prose, because that's where my head's been. |
