Thanks for the add! Looks like we're in kind of the same phase in our careers-- after years of whoring for ad agencies, mostly, I'm able to focus on creating my own comic book. I'll look forward to seeing what we both manage to produce!

Thanks for the add, dude. Your story is an impressive effort. I must point out, BTW, that the attack on Pearl Harbor wasn't "unwarranted," as your character says. The US had cut off Japan's oil supply, which was obviously an intolerable situation. And as for "cowardly," the Japanese apparently modeled their attack on a war game designed by a US Navy admiral. Of course, it's highly possible that your self-described "hillbilly" character might not be aware of these facts.

Time-Rider sees things the way a man from the 1940's would see it. He's a proud American from TN, and he's lost his brother to the attack on Pearl Harbor.

One thing we have to agree on if it weren't for the attack on Pearl Harbor it would have probably been a lot longer before America got into the war. The American people weren't looking for a fight, it found us. Of course FDR wanted to get into the fight against the Axis before Pearl, but most Americans were opposed to war before the attack.

Whether or not John Martin (Time-Rider) would have known about the political specifics or not wouldn't have mattered to a guy like him anyway. He lost his brother to an act of aggression. That's all I could see that he would focus on. At least from my own personal perspective I know I wouldn't care what the politics were at the time. I'd just be filled with righteous anger to avenge my loved one.

Funny you should mention zombies. The story I'm working on features them prominently. Nasty buggers, but who don't love zombies?
