hey, so i started drawing comics about 4 years ago. prior to that i didn't really have much interest in comics (no, i'm lying... between the ages of 9 to 12 i read comics. i was big into gen x and the savage dragon, amongst others). the first comic i made was "tormented by the vagina," then i did a comic "the rotten path..." somewhere in between tormented and rotten i started reading underground comics just to see what other non-superhero comic artists were doing. it think the first underground comic i read was eightball. i like dirty plotte, sophie crumb, robert crumb, brainfag, idiotland, black hole, schizo, capacity, ogner stump, real smut... whenever i go to a comic store, i'll look for the independent section, in search for whatever crap some nobody made in their bedroom and copied 100 times. i guess i just want to find comics that are personalized and show some some human imperfections. i like to see how people get from point a to b when trying to figure out how their gonna execute their ideas. DIY is the only way! ...but anyways, i'm not trying to be a comic snob. this is just what i'm into. ..........oh, and presently i draw for a monthly comic news paper in SF "madhappys" it's really fun awesome stuff. random and open minded. and i also meet up with a group "dafa fungus" on wednesday nights. it's a comic jam. fun stuff. aaaaaaaaaaand i'm about to finish the rotten path... issue 2. ....ok, so that's me and where i stand in the perversely driven world of comics. yay. don't be shy to friend me. i'm a nice guy.
