Header: Sending Submissions to Ape
Bulletin: Wouldn't you know it...I announce I'm going on vacation and I get more email submissions than I've ever gotten before.

Before you submit to Ape, I URGE you to read the submission guidelines posted here.

More specifically, my email account simply cannot handle any more unsolicited 10MB plugs, pitches, or samples. Not only is it a burden on my account, it's also unprofessional to send such large files without warning.

Might I suggest getting someplace to host your art or samples? Not only do you not have to worry about sending files, but also I can send the links to others at Ape without clogging up their mailboxes either. It makes it easier for all of us. If you can't afford webspace of your own, there are plenty of places where you can host art for free, including ComicSpace itself (make the galleries private, if need be).

If you MUST send files through email, particularly if it contains large attachments (say, over 2 MB), please do me the courtesy of emailing and telling me that you want to send files. Then await confirmation from me to send the file. I check my Ape mail multiple times a day; thus the wait should be short. Send email submissions to Submissions@ape-entertainment.com.

I'm not doing this to be a dick. But my mailbox fills up too fast when 10 people all send me 5 MB files the same day. Many of them bounce, and people re-send, which compounds the problem.
