I'm 53 years old and inherited my "geekness" from my father. He was a big Batman and Phantom fan. Not only from the comic books but also strips and Saturday matinees. So I think comics have always been around growing up. Everything from Scrooge McDuck and Richie Rich to Doom Patrol and Challengers of the Unknown.
I now have worked 30 years as a design and prepress artist for a screen printing company. My wife and I spend every summer in Wyoming for two months and I am an amatuer student of Western History.
My favorite comic characters are, of course, the Batman and the Phantom but also She Hulk , Superman and the classic trio of Green Lantern, Green Arrow and Black Canary. Also loved the classic Prince Valiant artwork.
Some of my favorite artist are: Hal Foster, Frank Frazetta, Neal Adams, Jim Aparo, Gil Kane, John Byrne, Jim Lee and Adam Hughes.
