Komikwerks is happy to let everyone know that we'll be at the NY Con this weekend!

Are You Headed out to NYCC?
Look for Actionopolis Actionistas to be roving the floors of the New York City Comic-Con. Expected to be in attendance:

* Shannon Eric Denton - Publisher (also: creator of "Zapt!", "Common Foe", "Grunts" and more)
* Patrick Coyle - Publisher
* Mike Dubisch - Illustrator of "Heir to Fire"
* Paul D. Storrie - Author of "Valkyra"

Actionopolis books will be on sale at the ATOMIC COMICS booth (hosts of the “win a chance to be Marvel’s EiC for the Day” contest).

So, if you're at the NYCC, make sure you track one of the Komikwerks crew down.

BIG NEWS
The January issue of the prestigious "School Library Journal" posted a review of Actionopolis books "Heir to Fire", by Rob M. Worley and Mike Dubisch, and "The Forest King" by Dan Mishkin and Tom Mandrake.

Elaine E. Knight of Lincoln Elementary Schools, IL writes:

"Although written in full-text style, both books show a graphic-novel influence-episodic, action-driven plots; highly visual descriptive imagery; and dramatic dialogue. The comic-book background is also evident in the heavily shadowed illustrations and dramatic cover art. These high-energy texts and engaging characters will attract reluctant readers as well as fantasy fans."
