Kristophe
We are the team of KJ & DDM, creators of Kristophe (aka Kristie, to everyone who comes to know him), and the new comic series, 'The Boys of St. Precocious Academy'. It is a humour-based story about boys who find themselves at a private school on the Atlantic Coast of France, and is filled with adventures of all sorts, including the Brothers of the Divine Order of the Cross of Perpetual Wonder attending to their young charges as best they can, although order is not their forte. And, the boys will have some romance along the way - with other boys. Yup, it's a gay story. We are based in Europe, which is less restrictive in many ways, and after a few delays and two injuries to the artists, this summer, we should have our first comic ready for print by the spring of 2008. That's the plan, anyway. Neither DDM, nor myself are formally trained in this medium, nor do we have any previous experience doing what we are now doing. There is a sort of bliss inherent in not knowing, in some cases. So far, this journey appears to have that benefit, although some of the challenges we have encountered we could have done without, in our humble opinions. So, as neophytes, we are here to have a look about at the talent - of which there appears to be an abundance on ComicSpace - and to learn as much as we can from those who have already cut a path through the underbrush. Feedback, tips, and suggestions are always welcome, when presented in a spirit of helpfulness, and if there is anything we can do to be of service, just let us know. Snippets of our work can be seen on our website, at Kristophe, and Kristophe on MySpace. Stop by for a look, or visit our blog at KJ & DDM, and leave us a note. Do keep in mind our work is gay-oriented, so if you are offended by the thought of boys loving boys, then it might be best to visit Google, instead. Update: September 4, 2008 KJ will be heading off to the hospital, on the 22nd, to have them change the oil and put in a new transmission. He will be gone for about two weeks or so, and we hope his mobility issue will then be resolved. The Boys of St. Precocious Academy
The humorous antics and adventures of boys at a prestigious French boarding school on the bluffs of the Atlantic, where clergy, teachers and students alike succumb to the rambunctious charms of Kristie (Kristophe) and his Krew.

Some of the not-so-naughty nudes that have appeared in our studio - totally unbeknownst to us, of course. No ribald carryings on in this place of work. Nope. Nosirree.

Thanks for making CODE one of your favorites and the compliments.
Your art is good, but I'm not into the subject matter.

We thank you for your comments, and we understand that our work will not fall onto everyone's list of favorites, and isn't it nice to have diversity in the world? |

The human experience has been about diversity from the start.
If man had shown love and respect from the begining we wouldn't be living in such a hateful world now. |

Kristophe, Thank you for wanting to be friends. Your comic doesn't look to be my kind of thing; I'm more into the daddys than the twinks, which seems to be your thing. It would be interesting if one of my guys made it with one of your guys. A team-up, maybe. 1 Reply [ Latest posted on March 13th, 2007 7:31 AM ]

Our boys do get out for adventures, occasionally, when the monks let them, and your suggestion is not outside the realm of possibilities. We shall have to ponder your suggestion, as soon as we complete this first issue. The second one will bring everything to the Academy, and from there adventures of a new sort can be developed. Who knows what can happen? Thank you for adding us, too. |
