Well, I think the paneling rule will work for any comic form art. :) It's a general rule for all publishers. Because they do have to change picture sizes sometimes. Bigger panels work better for that, also it's more comfortable for reading. (Ok, end my blab here.)

Personal styles come naturally, the more you try to avoid something, the more you change into that... it's a weird psychology that always work against us. Just study all kinds of art, and don't even worry about it.

Good story, easy read, too. Emotionally connecting, everyone has felt invisible at some point in time, and you captured that just right. I know you are still working on paneling and figures, but if you keep learning, you can become very good at doing comics/manga. Keep up the good work.

If you want to make it more professionally manga-ish, follow the guideline of "no more than 5 panels on a page" That's an offical guideline from a manga publisher I know. (I know I placed too many panels on a page before. :/ You can still see that in my older pages.)
