Welcome, Bruce! If you find yourself in our neck of the woods, come meet some of the other Chicagoland cartoonists. :)

Hey Scott, thanks for the add! How are things in Indiana, neighbor? Hope the winter storms didn't hit you too hard.

Hey, how long have you been on here?

Hi Kurt, thanks for the add. Looking at Linked in, we seem to have a few friends in common. Maybe I'll see you around sometime.

Thanks for the friend request. How's business? Being a freelance artist is one thing - I think I'd starve or explode if I tried both art and game design as a free lancer.

Business is up and down, but fortunately I'm on an up at the moment and if my plans come to fruition it may continue for a little while at least.

I think I'd find it hard working full time for someone else as an employee. :)

I hear you, man. Wish I had the contacts (and more importantly) the guts to break free. But I gotta pay the bills.

Pay the bills? I knew there was something...

Looking forward to seeing some more examples of your work!

Thanks for adding me. I'm very impressed with the quality of your work. Really professional. You should add a gallery so folks could see some of your other stuff.

The only thing I like better than your art is how you've got it laid out on your website. Keep it up, mate!

Thanks for the add. I used to work for NASA myself, preparing slides and charts for the early shuttle missions. They put us in building 30, on the opposite side of Mission Control. Of course, that was before anyone figured out a computer could be used to generate that sort of stuff.

Be sure to post a link to the comic (or previews) when it becomes available. We'd all like to get a look at it!

Thank you for adding me to your list. I enjoyed reading your comic. I'm excited that Working Daze got picked up by a paper in Asia, though I'm not sure where (I think either Thailand or Hong Kong). Keep up with the good work.

Thanks for the add and the encouragement! ^_^ Game Creature and Working Daze are lovely! Made me laugh, especially the ones about people who are just stuck to the computer.(Online shopping and computer games) *Ppl like ME! HA!*

Congrats on Working Daze. :)

Thanks for adding me. And thanks for clearing things up. Honestly, doesn't anyone ever pick up a phone and call to verify before publishing a story these days?

Kyle, Unfortunatly many people ran with this story without checking the facts or making the phone call.

Wow, I get to be one of the few, the proud, the more than 3,000 folks who call themselves Stormbear's friends. Just kidding, thanks for sending me the request. Keep up the good work! :)

Thanks, glad you like my efforts. Hey, if you know any comic artists trying to break into the business, I need an artist at the moment. I'm happy on the web, but wouldn't mind taking a shot at syndication at some point with the right artist. After all, with Fox Trot going to Sundays-only, the comics pages need another weird, super-intelligent blonde kid with glasses to replace Jason Fox, right? Lenore's ready to fill the void!

Seriously, though, love your work, and honored that you like mine. Thanks again, good luck with Working Daze and all your endeavors.

[ Posted by KyleMiller on Dec 22nd, 2006 10:15 AM ]...

I think Stone Soup is set to fill the Fox Trot void. Couldn't happen to a nicer girl. Personally, I'm waiting for Scott Adams to quit and then it will be Working Daze nation-wide, baby!!

Good luck with your artist search. I'm having a hard enough time getting my own cartoons out the door and coming up with new gags for Gamecreature. Still, I'm confident something will turn up.

Hey Mike, thanks for adding me. I've been a fan of Jon Sable from day one. Thanks for that Christmas story - one of the funniest ones I've heard in a while. Speaking of stories, I still remember the one you wrote about shooting a rock. Keep up the good work!
