Welcome to my lair. In here you will find digitally painted artwork in the horror vein! Currently I am working on a personal project to display here that will be named COUNT THE DEAD. It's a b/w painted book about a vampire (The Count) and the undead. I'm doing it for myself and no one else. Well...maybe for some friends to enjoy. Old pulp horror books have always been my favorite comic reads. Thats the inspiration that this book is coming from. My heart and soul will be put into this book. Hopefully people will enjoy reading this book and give me a reason to continue the series in a second book. I'm going to twist the way traditional undead have been portrayed and take a lot of liberties with my stories. I know...everyone says this. It's up to me to follow through and deliver with the finished pages. These aren't traditional horror icons...I'm changing them to what I think is interesting. Expect to see vampires, mummies, werewolves, Frankenstein and hordes of the undead in this book. The title of this comic can be related to that fact that the vampire is a count and is dead...or to the fact that it will be filled with undead creatures. Anyhow...anyone who finds this page...welcome! I have a horribly outdated website that I have failed to maintain. It's 3 or 4 years out of date now. Hey, Paul. Just stoppin' by to see how things are going. I'm still doing the same old stuff. Working out everything for a Slayer revamp for next year. Working on finishing off my part of our SPI2007 entry. Tons of work to get done in a week. Two would be more to my liking. I'll do the best with the time I've been given though. I can't wait for some free time to work on something of my own again! |

Well I'm in a team for Small Press Idol 2007 and we squeaked into one of the top 6 slots. Now we have to complete a 12 page 0 issue comic with a cover in a small amount of time. Our entry is called Ruthless.
I'm just doing the shades/tones but it's probably gonna end up closer to painting it. That's if I can get the solid time to paint it all. The competition is extremely good so all we can do is our best in the amount of time we have given. It's just nice to be there at this point.
Once this is done I'm back on Count the Dead again. |
