I broke down and got one of these.

Sometimes I wonder why. I've got pointless bollocks about me on five quintillion websites just about everywhere. So why add another one?

Oh yes. Comics. That's why.

I should make something clear right now. I cannot draw for shit. I have never been able to you. Somewhere I have a picture I did three years ago from one of those "how to draw Superman" books. It's meant to take you half an hour. It took me four fucking days. I'm so proud of that picture. Laugh at how bad it is here:

maybe I should just trace other people's art. Or maybe porn. It works for Greg Land.

So, I can't draw, but I can write. What can I write? Well, I've written three and a half novels (I'm sixty thousand words into the third). I also wrote a fairly good comic book called Assassin. I say fairly good because the artwork is fucking phenomenal. my writing is all right. I brought things to a satisfactoryish conclusion.

I'd really like to work with people on interesting and weird projects. I like tossing ideas round and coming up with interesting concepts. I'll happily write superhero, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, ghost, crime, and comedy stories. I'm also a fan of talking crap about comics in general.

So... how many people think this thing will in any way take off?

It's got over three thousand people, has only been up two months, and 90% of the people I've seen have been here less than a week.

In other words, this will either grow and become something huge (plateauing into the tens or hundreds of thousands) or collapse after the new car smell wears off.

Any bets either way?
