What, about me?

Uh...who, me? I read an unhealthy amount of comics by day. Ranging from alternative comics to about everything interesting published by DC/Vertigo (ok, some Marvel too), reaching european graphic novels like those by Manara, Moebius, Serpiere, Metal Hurlant stuff and Bonelli titles to end at a very huge bookmark on webcomics that keeps getting bigger everyday (I swear, one day that thing will become alive and eat all the other bookmarks on my Firefox!)

I dislike strangers that see you doodling some idea you had in the middle of the street, come to you and keep looking over your shoulder, asking questions like "oooooh, is it you who's drawing this?", usually followed by "You know, I have a little brother/cousin/son/other that knows how to draw Mickey, like, totally alike! He's good! Did you ever think about trying to work for Disney?"

I'm still fighting with my tablet's pen and remain faithfull to my set of propelling pencils. I love sketching stuff on paper. Guess there's space for both in my table :)

My monography at University was about the transition from printed comics to the virtual media. It ranged from the digitalization of all steps of comics production to the different technics explored by webcomic creators on the making of said comics.

I'm a nerd by heart with a taste for knowledge and technology, a art director and graphic designer by profession and an illustrator for hire :P
