My nutshell self: I'm a writer/editor/educator who's made a living (well, sorta) scribbling about music, sports and technology...

But I've been a comics fan all my life, even if I was the kid who grew up wanting to be Clark Kent more than Superman...

I'm a semi-non-active member of an APA here called Nashville Comics Creators, a group populated with far more dedicated and talented folks than me, but I do enjoy the (far too few) opportunities to get together with folks, young and old, who...you know...don't think I'm a geek for liking comics well into my adult years...

Here's hoping ComicSpace becomes a great resource for all who enjoy this oft-neglected, yet creatively vibrant form of mass media...but let's not turn it into a snooty, overly inclusive club, shall we? The rest of the world needs us...they just don't know it yet...
