Thanks for the add! I really liked your story in the Belle & Sebastian anthology. B&S is one of my favorite bands. Do you know if there are any plans to release a second one? 1 Reply [ Latest posted on April 20th, 2007 1:41 AM ]

Thanks, Joshua! Good to meet you. B&S is also one of my favorites. I have heard of no plans for a second anthology, but I'd certainly buy one if they made one. |

Dave those comics are so incredibly wonderful. I never saw a lot of them, like the Dylan one, and the gorgeous polar bear one. And look how great the drawing is in that kitty vomiting one! Man oh man! |

Any chance of you posting exceprts from "Piazza, New York Catcher" here? I've noticed that people who read that usually end up wanting to borrow Urban Hipster from me afterwards, so it might be a good "gateway" piece. Also, could we ever expect a TPB collection of your anthology work (like the Ulysses piece from EXPO, etc.)? 1 Reply [ Latest posted on March 5th, 2007 3:59 PM ]

That's a great suggestion! I will post two sample pages today. I am working on collecting an anthology of my comics. I can't say when it will be in print, but it's in the works. Thanks for asking! |

I wish I was 12-17 years old, just so I could be taught about comics from a master like yourself. Those are some lucky kids! |

"My comic about polar bears"
This is all anyone needs to read to know they should seek out your work. |

Heya, David. I received your private message. Thanks for the kind words.
And you can count me among the fans who'll be standing in line (okay, who'll be checking Amazon) when the collected Lasky is released in book form. Your Pulse pieces are superb... masterful! Be sure to keep me updated.

Lasky, how you been, dog? I was just digging up my old John Lee Hooker comic; I need a big fat book of yours! |
