Hara Kiwi is a series of silly cartoons, published in mayor magazines and papers in Belgium,the Netherlands and Hungaria. There are currently three albums available (Hara Kiwi 1, 2 and 3). The series are also translated into German, where they have been published in a book named 'Voll Krass' by mayor publisher Carlsen Verlag. Next to Hara Kiwi i also run a series named 'the Dork side', a Star Wars/Star Trek/Scifi/Fantasy/LOTR/Matrix-related spoof cartoon series (published in the Official German Star Wars Magazine), and i do editorial cartoons for several magazines in Europe. My comic gag strip 'Lars' is running daily in the Dutch newspaper 'AD' (Algemeen Dagblad), and the Belgian newspapers 'Gazet van Antwerpen' en 'Het Belang van Limburg'. We are currently looking for syndication abroad. I'm represented by Comichouse. My third dutch cartoonbook 'Hara Kiwi 4' will be published in August 2004. Het zou inderdaad fijn zijn als we ons werk kunnen loslaten op de onschuldige wereld. Komt wel goed, want de makers willen vast geen leden verliezen omdat het hier nu nog zo gaapverwekkend is. |
