Hi there,

it's been a while since i've updated my comicspace-friends with some Lectrr news, but a new year always brings along good resolutions to update more frequently.

I've got a lot of news. My editorial cartoons at Planet.nl got cancelled (boo!) but instead i got a gig at a big Dutch newspaper with my stopcomic named 'Lars'. It's my childhood dream come true, a daily comic on the funny pages of a newspaper. Too bad it isn't a Belgian paper, but we're working on that.

Also some news from my performing plans: i've decided to quit doing standup comedy, and focus entirely on comics and cartoons.
I won't be quiting the stage though: i recently just finished a performance with the famous dutch band 'Spinvis' during the Stripdagen in Turnhout (Belgium), of which you can see a Youtube-movie in my Lectrr Live-gallery. And new plans are being made for other offbeat cartoonperformances, but i can't give any details just yet.

Other than that, there will be a reprint of my first album (Hara Kiwi 1) in the second quarter of 2008, and a new album (Hara Kiwi 4) at the same time.
Also, my very first jigsaw puzzle will be available in toy stores later this month. The other day the mailman brought me the very first pieces of the thing, and i must say i'm as proud as a nobel prize winner. You will be able to order the thing through my website (www.lectrr.be - for those who speak dutch), or just mail me if you want to buy one of those sweet looking jigsaw things. I'll be putting up a picture of the puzzle later today.

I've also confirmed the first signing sessions for this year:
i'll be attending my very first German signing session in february, where fans of my Voll Krass-album will be able to get an autograph and free drawing during the comic fair in Bochum on feb 17th.
I've also confirmed FACTS, for the seventh time, in october in Ghent, Belgium. I believe i will be in Haarlem during the summer as well, and i'll probably be visiting Ficomic in Barcelona as well.
