| Bulletin: | To quote one of my favorite cartoon characters: "Good news, everybody!" I've just been nominated for a Stripschapspenning. Before you start googling what the hell a Stripschapspenning is, it's probably the most import Dutch comic price. Every year, they make a shortlist of the best comic books that came out that year, and divide it into different categories. Together with two other authors (Floor de Goede and Gerard Leever) i've been nominated in the category "Best Youth Album" for my comic book "Lars! Attacks", an anthology of comics that appeared in several newspapers in Belgium and the Netherlands. The real winner is announced end of september. It's no Eisner nomination, but i'm stoked nevertheless. |
