http://www.lulu.com/leethackerI have an 800 page graphic novel called 'One For Sorrow' available in 8 paperback black and white editions published through Lulu. They are also available as two 400 page hardcover editions. Book One has an introduction
by Cerebus creator Dave Sim.The story follows the life of the main character, Carol Roswell, through her troubled teens to adulthood. It is a slice of life drama with a more than a few twists and turns and should appeal to readers of Love & Rockets, Adrain Tomine, Cerebus etc. Important note: If you are looking for my books on Lulu you have to set the Lulu browser access level to 'mature' because the second hardcover contains mature content. I think a lot of people have looked on Lulu to check out my books and then assumed that I've not finished them yet because books five and eight (as well as the second hardcover) are nowhere to be seen. If you're over eighteen years of age, go to Lulu, access 'my account', on the left you should see a tab that says 'change access level', then select 'mature' and go back to my storefront and the books should appear.

Just checked out your samples, and also read the Dave Sim write-up in Following Cerebus #8. One for Sorrow looks like good stuff. Just went and bought the Vol. 1 Hardcover off the Lulu web-site, I really look forward to reading it when it arrives!!! |
