Greetings. I'm a caricaturist who does parties and programming (especially libraries), custom caricature commissions, and who even sells caricatures and other artwork on ebay. I have a deep, rich history in comics culture, starting by reading Richie Rich and other Harvey Comics, Archie, and other kid friendly comics. I moved up to DC and Marvel later, preferring the DCU before it was a universe. I lived through the post Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Indie Black and White Bust. I live through the highs and lows of the stock exchange period of comics buying of the 90's, and am enjoying collected editions, graphic novels, and web comics. Small press comics are cool, too.

My current reading habits includes any good comics that I get get my hands on through the local public library system (Clevenet) that allows me to borrow from the shelves of over 200 libraries in the Cleveland area. When it comes to Marvel and DC, I'm still a big DC fan, 52 and anything with the JSA the lone survivors of my must buy list. This of course puts me about six to 12 months behind on any storyline, but that's okay. I'm also big time into most any non-cape and cowl collections and works that I can get.

I'm more a student of the history of American Comic Book and Strip Culture. I love reading bios about creators and others in comics, and about behind the scenes comics business.

I owned a comic book shop in the mid-90's for about four months. It opened when the market was coming off of the Superman Death collecting/investment boom and the Marvel's attempt at self-distribution. Bad timing and other responsibilities crushed that dream quickly.

I've dabbled in small press creation and publishing, including three issues of OH NO! NOT ANOTHER FANZINE... It was well received by fandom reviewers, but never managed to have a fourth issue. Who knows what the future holds?

My art and stories have appeared in WATUSI, THE TALKING DOG, APA-5, IT'S A FANZINE, my own comics DRAWN FROM EXPERIENCE and ARRRGH... NOT ANOTHER MINI-COMIC, and many other small press books, fanzines, and mini-comics.
