Comic Art Show
Opens 8/8/08 and runs till 9/6/08. ArtsPlace Gallery 161 North Mill Street, Lexington, KY 40507, Phone: 859.255.2951.

The show is a juried show for artists 18 and over. This means that you submit up to 9 pieces (digitally) and then the juror (a sequential art professor from SCAD Atlanta) will pick the the best works for inclusion in the show. There is no entry fee for the show. Please encourage any Kentucky based comic artists you know to send in an application and a CD. Under 18 artists are in a separate category and are guaranteed at least one piece will be included in the show.

Besides the art show there will be a lecture the opening night and a workshop the following day (Saturday). We may have additional lectures or workshops over the course of the show. Deadline for adults submissions is July 24th if you are dropping the CD off at the LexArts office. See LexArts website for under 18 submission details.
