Can I just say this is my 1st time on television?

Bulletin:

Hey pipples, I've just uploaded to YouTube my audition video to be the anchor for the official podcast of the 2007 New York Comic Convention, to happen Feb. 23 to 25 at the Javits Center. (Actually, this would be far from my first time on TV, but the Python reference was too good to pass up. It is, however, my first time on YouTube, and this is my first bulletin on ComicSpace, so it is an inaugural of sorts anyway.) I've been slaving away at this thing for the past couple weeks, and just got it in under the wire by the skin of my teeth's hair off its back. The BBCode doesn't allow me to imbed the video, so you can watch it here. (If you've got a YouTube account please rate and comment on it. Yes, I need and I'm getting a haircut.)

I tried uploading this to MySpace, but it doesn't seem to have taken. I will try again soon and, as an added bonus, within the next few days I'll be uploading the "director's cut," which is plus or minus 30% different, due to a last minute fix for the sake of the NYCC's rules. But their bureaucratic loss is your gain.

Whether or not I get the gig, I'll be up a week from Friday for the NYCC, so I'd love to see those of you who'll be in town. If I do get the gig, I'll likely be busy all day, but ready to blow off some steam both nights. Remind me why I want to come back to town to stay!
