Mike Gallagher has been in and out of comics more than is safe. He has self published such gems as "Walking Small" and "Pezz Comics." He had a very brief stint with Defiant Comics during it's demise.

Mike has a story published in BIZMAR from Young American Comics entitled Bug Girl and Bunny Boy Versus the Zombie Clowns From Mars! Another short was released in August 2007 entitled Small Town/Big City.
Mike also has a three issue mini series published by Alterna Comics entitled "Ruin". All three issues are still available from Mike. They met with some favorable podcaster reviews!

He has designed many T-shirts and more tattoos than he can remember. Mike has designed candy and packaging for a southern candy company. He has also designed a retirement community in Pottstown, PA called Briarwood.
Currently Mike is working on another comic series with Tom "Ride that tiger" Pinchuck called Undertow Solutions.

Mike's first professional work was completing an illustration for a small company selling japanese anime goods out of Chicago back in 1986 (he was still in high school). During his stay at IUP's art department, Mike designed hundreds of banners, posters, and fliers for the school. After graduation he spent 2 years in IUP's advertising department.

Since the dawn of the interwebs, Mike has been periodically making photomanipulations of his favorite comics characters. He has also dabbled in webcomics with the strip "Unto the Breach."

Mike is always available for work. Send him a pitch, make him an offer, see what transpires!

Newsletter Strips

These are strips I do for my company's newsletters. They typically relate to working in the cinema from a manager's point of view. They also can be used for education.

You Are What You Eat

This is a comic written by Kurt Belcher and drawn by me. It is my foray into zombie comics. Kurt and I traded stories, each giving the other one to draw.

I tried to ink this in a scratchier style than I normally use.

So, sell me already. Mind you I have no free time with the new theatre.

YOOOOOOO! Good to see you here. I've been watching "Ruin" unfold with great interest. Tom just told me you and he will be working on a new comic pitch together, at which I screamed "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" because I have GOT to work with you one of these days. ;)

But anyway, if you ever get any free time, we should try to pitch something together. Great work on "Ruin" so far!
